Computer randomly shuts down
I have a Dell Inspiron 1501 running 13.04. Sometimes my computer will randomly shut down, it instantly shuts down, like I had no battery in and I unplugged it and feels really hot afterwards. I am running with no battery in my computer, this usually happens if I am watching videos or compiling programs or anything else that takes up lots of CPU. Is this a hardware issue, if so is there a way I can have a log of the temperature of my computer is right up to the time it shuts down.
i saw here that there is a bug that the fan speed is inadequately controlled in ubuntu, is there a fix for this bug
